The Department of Media Studies and Visual Communication aims at equipping students with sound domain knowledge in these two diverse fields. The focus is on imparting professional competencies and technical skills which help them evolve into communication media experts, professional writers, bloggers, film makers, and advertising and corporate communication professionals. Core courses provide strong foundational knowledge in the areas of Print, Electronic and New Media. The courses are designed to impart the skills in Digital Media, Advertising, TV Production, Film Studies, Documentary Film Making, Fashion Communication, Photography, and Public Relations.
